Why this exists
MoveToOZ started with a spreadsheet, a dozen browser tabs and far too many unanswered questions. Which visa? Which city? What does rent actually cost? The information was scattered across government pages, Facebook groups, outdated blogs and forum threads, and every answer led to three more questions.

The aim is simple: one honest place that pulls together visas, cities, jobs, accommodation, cars and a community of people going through exactly the same thing.
What we are
We're an independent guide to moving from the UK to Australia, written for people doing it for the first time. We research visa routes, city costs, suburbs, job markets and the practical admin — the driving licence, the bank account, the first month's rent — and put it in plain English.
We're also a community. The forum is where Brits moving to Australia compare notes on timelines, shipping quotes, rental applications and everything else that doesn't fit neatly in a guide.
What we're not
We are not migration agents. We don't give personal immigration advice. Everything we publish points back to the Department of Home Affairs, and for anything binding you should speak to a registered MARA agent.
